COACHES MESSAGE BOARD
Football Update,
Coach Johnson’s condition is very grave. Please keep him, Austin and their family in your prayers. Thanks to Michael Kremer and Luke Walerius for organizing the prayer service and to all the players who showed. I was very proud of all of you.
The boys and girls basketball teams’ seasons have now ended. This means our spring practice window opens on Monday, March 1st. Unfortunately the weather and conditions right now are terrible. We have 3 weeks, the two before spring break and the one after, to get in 10 practices. I am attaching the tentative schedule (on back) for you.
We tested in lifting yesterday and I was very pleased with the results. Some of you have been working extremely hard this off-season and it showed. The month of March we will lift at the high school in conjunction with our spring practices. I will fill you in on lifting for April and May after Spring Practice.
The Ground Hog Tournament is this week end and it will go on no matter what the weather conditions. Seniors have been given the schedules of when you are working. Please be on time. And look for one of your coaches. Coach Sowards, Coach Schultz and Coach Brown will be there on Saturday and I will be there on Friday.
